We loved our stay at the Lodge Billund!
Beautiful hotel in a great location! Walking distance to all things Lego, restaurants, water park and shopping. Helpful and friendly staff.
The restaurant hours were posted at the front entrance. Hours stated that lunch was available, but when we went to have lunch it was closed. Thank goodness there were other restaurants were close by!

Expensive for what it offers
Breakfast was nice but it usually ended at 10, which is not great for somebody who's on vacation and doesn't have kids. The restaurant on location called The Leaf has great food. The location of the hotel is very close to Legoland, about 5-10 minutes walk.
Our room was next to the cleaning room and we would get woken up by the dryer starting at 5 AM if we left the window open over night. The sound could be easily heard with the windows closed as well but not as loud. The room had a smell of "old", I tried to air it out but the smell persisted.
